Sometimes on start up, a HP printer can get stuck in the initializing sequence. The counter on the machine can reach up until well over 300, when this happens, there are occasions that the printer will not move pass this stage and turn on properly. When this does happen, please follow the steps below to have that one restarted and correctly booted up.
Restarting the Printer to bypass Initializing
1. Hard restart the printer by holding down the power button for 10 seconds until the printer is completely shut down.
2. Unplug the network cable from the back of the printer.
3. Turn on the printer and wait for it to progress to the home screen.
4. Once the device is fully back on please plug back in the network cable.
5. Please proceed to do a test print to see if the printer is functioning properly.
